For decades we have been using pots and pans with Teflon lining but do we really know what go in it? When you buy anything to eat we get a nutritional fact chart so we know what we're about to consume and we can make the choice of eating it or not. Cookware manufacturers should be held to the same standards. Teflon seems to have gone under the radar since it's beginnings why do we use it? Did the FDA have to approve it's use
We the undersigned call on Congress to question companies that manufacturers Teflon products and the FDA that give them approval. What research and testing has been done and what were the results. Do we know the health risks if consumed in the long run. When the Teflon peels off and you consume particles of it what types of chemicals are you ingesting?
