Acts of animal cruelty are becoming more and more frequent. Example on 14 November on the news there was a case of a puppy who was found by police bashed to death.
Other examples are upon entering a aquarium store in Sydney's western suburbs quite a few port jackson sharks and a couple of sting rays were kept in a small tank with hardly any room to move.
After speaking with RSPCA ad NSW fisheries Department as they are for sale there is no legal legislation to Aquarium shop owners to have these animals in a reasonable sized tank this is defiantly cruelty laws need to be harsher.
I do have photo evidence of the sharks and rays in the small tank.
We the undersigned call for harsher laws against those who commit acts of cruelty to animals in Australia to be made as the current laws don't appear to be working and animals have a right to be safe.
