This petition is based on the experiences of the last Hajj group to travel from Botswana. It is directed towards the Saudi Arabian Embassy in South Africa, as well as the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia. It is requesting two things. The first is that the issuing of all visas should be the sole mandate of the Botswana Muslim Association and not any entity making money from the provision of travel packages for Hajj. The second is that Spring Travels should not be allowed to remain as the sole provider of Hajj travel packages but that rather it should be one of many.
CONCERNED MUSLIMS WHO URGE OUR LEADERS TO ACT NOW TO CHANGE THE CURRENT HAJJ SITUATION WE CURRENTLY FACE IN BOTSWANA. SPRING TRAVELS SHOULD BE REMOVED AS THE SOLE AGENT IN BOTSWANA AND THE QUOTA FOR HAJJ VISAS SHOULD BE GIVEN TO THE BOTSWANA MUSLIM ASSOCIATION.
