Canada and Representatives of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, notwithstanding the fact that there is considerable historical evidence that Michaëlle Jean has supported Quebec Separatism and has never clearly declared allegiance to Her Majesty.
Therefore Michaëlle Jean is completely unsuitable as a candidate for the high office of Governor General and representative of the Queen.
Consequently, many Canadian Citizens are greatly distressed by this inappropriate selection.
We, the citizens of Canada, hereby humbly Petition Her Majesty to request the Prime Minister of Canada to propose an alternate selection for Governor General of Canada who has an unblemished record of loyalty to Canada and the Crown.
