To fund research into the causes of CHD. It doesn't matter whether it is UK, Australia, Russia, Germany or the USA who are trying to find the cause. All that matters is that we are trying to get something done about it.......
We want to see the government investing money in researching the causes of congenital (born with) conditions. Babies are being born every day in the UK who will die at a very young age from conditions for which no cause has yet been found.
By discovering the causes of such conditions, many babies lives will be saved each year, and if the conditions are prevented it will save the NHS money!! Don't let the babies die needlessly.
We, the undersigned, call on the British Government to start investing into the causes behind Congenital Heart Defects.
This is the number 1 killer of children, yes you read right, not cancer but CHD. There is not enough funding for research or awareness of these defects.
