The GO Transit Stouffville Line currently has 5 trains southbound to Union on weekday mornings and 6 trains (starting September 4th, 2012) northbound from Union on weekday evenings.
There is a high volume of passengers and therefore a pressing need for additional trains in the morning to alleviate the present congested train situation.
For example, there are often little to no seats on the 7:07 train from Lincolnville when it arrives at 7:40 to Unionville and there are still 3 more stops to go with several individuals not getting space to stand let alone have a seat.
We, the undersigned, call on GO Transit to add an additional train on weekday mornings on the Stouffville line.
