From 1951, the 66 bus route stopped in Kilcock, enabling a town of almost 6,000 unrestricted access to the nation's capital and all the perks that accompany this.
Unfortunately, in 2010, the bus route got shortened to having it's final stop in Maynooth, leaving Kilcock without a regular connection to Dublin and it's suburbs.
This has both socially and culturally impaired the residents of Kilcock. The success of this petition would give almost 6,000 people the possibility and means to explore and discover our nation's capital, Dublin.
We, the undersigned, call on the Córas Iompair Éireann (CIÉ) and Pascal Donohoe, Minister for Transport, to return Kilcock to being the final stop for the 66 bus route.
