I am starting this petition as I am an Irish soccer fan who is fed up with settling for second best and being treated as a mug. Why should we be second best?
The vast majority of our squad now plays in the premiership but yet we have a man incapable of managing in the Phoenix park over them. These players deserve a chance and so do us fans. We need a top class, world recognised manager (doesn't have to be Irish).
Also this must start from the top - Delaney out too.
We, the undersigned, ask the Football Association of Ireland to terminate the contract of Stephen Staunton as national coach and pursue a World Class coach to help this team and nation fulfill its potential.
