Get Michael Savage off the air for GOOD!

This petition is to call for the removal of radio talk show host Michael Savage from the public airways. On Wednesday July 16, 2008, Micheal Savage made extremely offensive remarks concerning autistic children as "brats", "idiots" and "morons". He placed the blame on poor parenting and lack of parent interaction in families to correct what he believes is misbehavior. He also called Autism "a fraud", "a racket" adding that it was a ploy to hide the fact that most kids are brats.

Other remarks from SAVAGE included that "in 99% of the cases it's the brat who hasn't be told to cut the act out", "What do you mean they scream and they're silent?" These are just some of the remarks that SAVAGE made on his radio show that has more than 8 million listeners!

SAVAGE offered NO apology in a message posted on his Web site. He said his remarks were taken out of context, and that he wasn't targeting genuinely autistic children. He said that he was criticizing doctors & drug companies for over-diagnosing children out of greed, as well as "fakers" hoping for extra benefits.

Advertisers & Radio Stations have either discontinued their support and dropped or will be dropping the Michael Savage Show. Michael Savage is aired on 350 radio station & is the 3rd most listened to Talk Radio Host in the country. He has made a living off bold and outrageous statements.

As you all know 1 in 150 children will be diagnosed with Autism. Autism is not a choice. This disorder affects children, their families & their lives.

Strength is in numbers! Please help remove Michael Savage from ALL the public airways.
