Due to the recent U.S. events there has been a spike in South Carolina Gas Prices, as well as other States within the United States. This spike in gas prices is bearing down on the low and middle class families as well as local relief volunteers and workers.
This is also increasing the need for more revenue to fund Katrina Relief.
We the people of South Carolina are asking that the State of South Carolina gas tax be temporarily suspended to aid is this relief effort.
We the People of South Carolina petition for temporary tax relief due to the tragic and recent events of Katrina.
