Ben and Jerry's in SAU on RIT campus shows a hanging cow.
During Orientation of Fall Quarter 2005, several Residential Advisors saw the cow with its neck tied up on a noose to Ben and Jerry's ceiling. They went to the counter and told the worker that they were offended by the scene of a fake cow hanging. The worker explained that it made a squealing noice when you squeezed it.
They asked for the manager. The manager showed up and they introduced themselves and several mentioned they were vegetarians. The manager was politely asked to take it down, but he only smiled and said nothing. Still to today, the hanging cow remains in the air.
We, the undersigned, pledge that we will not eat at Ben and Jerry's until the hanging cow is removed.
