Julia Yaze is a wonderful hardworking person who has worked for a local PE cleaning company for many years. Recently Nedbank closed the Stanford branch where she worked which has meant that the cleaning company now has retrenched her.

Despite promising to pay her a salary for December (it is Christmas, how is she supposed to find work now?!) they have reneged on their commitment and she has now been left destitute and unable to care for her family which includes two young children. Not only this, they did not supply her with the retrenchment documentation for her to apply for unemployment. It is despicable and heartbreaking how they would treat a loyal, longstanding employee.

There is often so much unfairness and mistreatment in our employment system but please help me help this women. I am calling on the cleaning company and Nedbank to pay her salary for the next 3 months in order for her to survive while job searching.

All I need is your signature and for you to pass this on to your friends and family. Please stand up for this women, no one else is.

We call upon Nedbank and Puma S & B Cleaning (contact number 041 501 3400, contact name Yandani) in Port Elizabeth to treat Julia Yaze with kindness and respect and pay her salary up until the end of February in order for her to survive while she looks for alternative employment.
