Wyaralong Dam is a multi use recreational facility and the use of the dam has recently been leased to Rowing Queensland as a regatta venue.
The car parking facility does not meet the requirements of the user group.
The BSRA request is to expand CP2 from 200 car parks to 1000 cars.
There is adequate land to meet this demand.
We the undersigned request that SEQ WATER allow the expansion of CP2 at the Wyaralong Dam rowing facility to accommodate 1000 cars at the regattas. This would allow spectators pedestrian access to view rowing and eliminate the need for shuttle buses that create an unnecessary traffic hazard in the environment.
