Across Pakistan, many students with physical, sensory, or learning differences continue to face barriers in accessing equal educational opportunities. Schools often lack accessible infrastructure, trained support staff, and awareness programs that promote acceptance and inclusion.
Inclusive education is closely linked to students’ emotional well-being, confidence, and social development. Research shows that when schools provide supportive and inclusive environments, all students benefit through improved empathy, collaboration, and academic engagement.
This petition highlights the need to strengthen inclusive practices in schools so that every learner can participate fully, safely, and with dignity.
We, the undersigned, call upon the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, Pakistan, to strengthen inclusive education policies by ensuring accessible school facilities, trained support staff, and awareness programs that promote respect and equal learning opportunities for students of all abilities.
