This petition is a plea from the tenants of this apartment complex to reach higher authorities in reference to our complaints and issues. Have you made a written or verbal request to have a maintenance issue resolved and your request has not been responded to? Have you been late on rent, charged attorney fees, yet you have not been sued or served?
Do you feel unsafe do to the recent incidents that have occurred? Do you have any general concerns that needs to be addressed? If so, this is your chance to be heard. According to the maintenance section on our lease, "all maintenance issues must be resolved in a timely manner". According to the late fee section of our lease attorney fees, court cost, etc. will be applied to balance "in" the court of law.
We, the undersigned , call on the Shelby County Renter's Fair Housing Authority, Apogee New Dawn management(Stonegate Apartments),and Code Enforcement to eliminate the fee of attorney fees applied to rent prior to being served, sued, or court date.
Enforcement of the maintenance agreement between tenant and property to fix all malfunctioning appliances, and all other required items needed for suitable living conditions.
The undersigned call on the before mentioned parties to implement routine maintenance checks of appliances, heating/cooling units, filters, water, and all other items required for suitable living.
Finally request that courtesy officers/security officers secure the premises as promised on our lease.
