End the United States' Dependency on Borrowing from Federal Reserve Bank

As it stands, the United States government does not have the authority to print and distribute currency. That honor is held solely by The Federal Reserve Bank. Contrary to popular public understanding, the Federal Reserve is not a government agency. It is a privately owned bank with a president, shareholders, and investors just like any other bank.

The Federal Reserve creates currency based on a request from the government. Currency that has no real value other than the paper it is printed on and what the citizens are told it is worth.The bad news is that interest is charged. Interest that, by design, cannot ever be fully repaid. Unfortunately, the average American citizens are the people that have to attempt to pay this unpayable interest.

Our country will never prosper until our elected government is given the right to issue currency. Our forefathers fought a brutal war to free themselves from a centralized bank and a debt based economy. Now, as a country, we are back where we started before the American revolution. The debt, poverty, inflation, and devaluing of the dollar has spiraled out of control. It is now the time for another American revolution.

The purpose of this petition is to urge the united states government to ratify a constitutional amendment to strip the power to issue currency from the Federal Reserve Bank and place that power back into the hands of the executive branch of the United States' government. This government issued money its to be used to:
1. Distribute to the American people as the only acknowledged form of currency.
2. Pay the debt to the Federal Reserve Bank.

We cannot continue traveling this road any longer. We the people, must put an end to this madness. A few dominant individuals control everything in this country. The citizens and the states should have that power. We must put an end to this debt based economy before the entire economy collapses.

Our country is dangerously close, teetering on the edge, unable to be saved. If that were to happen, everything everyone owns will become worthless while those few dominant individuals make out like bandits.
