TWO UGANDAN TRANS GENDERED ACTIVISTS WERE ARRESTED AND DETAINED FROM THE 10TH SEPTEMBER 2008 TO THE 18TH SEPTEMBER AND LATER LET OUT OF POLICE CUSTODY ON BOND TO REPORT AGAIN ON WEDNESDAY 24TH 2008.
THE GOVERNMENT OF UGANDA HAS BEEN ADAMANT TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE OF LGBTI RIGHTS AND THE VIOLATION AND ABUSE THEREOF AND HAVE BEEN PART OF THE STATE SPONSORED HOMOPHOBIA.
