One of the vital necessities in any emergency situation is a good Road network and connectivity which is missing or not built in a good way in India.
Fact File:
For Instance;
1) North America is a continent that contains some of the best transportation networks the world has ever seen and it brings pride and much comfortable, coveted usage for the entire United Statues Nation.
Interstate Highway system is a network of highways (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Highways) (also called freeways) in the United States which is prominent in American daily life.
2) During the second world war Hitler built the Autobahn formed the first limited-access, high-speed road network in the world, with the first section from Frankfurt am Main to Darmstadt opening in 1935. Adolf Hitler enthusiastically embraced an ambitious autobahn construction project in the year 1933. Soon, over 100,000 laborers worked at construction sites all over Germany was to provide mobility for the movement of military forces.
Many sections of Germany's autobahns are modern, containing three lanes in addition to an emergency lane.
The German autobahns are famous for being some of the few public roads in the world without blanket speed limits (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speed_limit ) for cars and motorcycles.
We hereby represent to the Govt. of India; National Highways & State Highways Authority of India (NHAI & SHAI) to develop the Indian Road Network to connect all the major cities and towns; which should target most of the big villages also by connecting the entire Nation through Road Connectivity which helps improve the Transport Network thereby improving the entire Nation’s Economy.
Recommended :
1. Better built Highways with more lanes with a minimum of a 3/4-Lane either side connecting all Major Cities & Towns of the Indian Sub-Continent.
2. More Expressways connecting all Inter-States and Intra-State Cities (An expressway is a divided highway for high-speed traffic with at least partial control of access).
3. More Motorways connecting major Metropolitan cities of India (Motorway is a term for both a type of road and a classification or designation. Motorways are high capacity roads designed to carry fast motor traffic safely.)
4. More Freeways leading to urban renewal by avoiding traffic congestion and having high-occupancy vehicle lanes (HOV lanes) (Freeway - A divided highway with full control of access).
If required and needed a Bill should be passed in the Parliament and this should be taken as a major Improvement area in the Nation’s Infrastructure thereby providing the people of the country with the Best known Infrastructure and developing the Nation’s Road Network connectivity which would serve as the widely used Network for all means including any Emergency Situation if any and could serve the Nation better and take the Road Network to Global Standards.
This would generate a nation wide employment by getting in the latest in Technology to build and maintain this Road Network across the country; further it would benefit the entire Nation people by providing the Best Infrastructure in the World which would enable India to hold a better status in the Developed country status.
This would also help reduce the number of accidents; congestion in traffic across the country and would help people reach anywhere in the country in a much faster pace thereby serving Good to the People and also Improve the Road Network of entire Indian Sub-Continent.
