The government of Ontario should designate the last remaining Sam the Record Man store in Belleville Ontario as a tourist attraction. Sam the Record Man has played an integral role in the development of Canadian music talent since 1937. Millions of Canadians from coast to coast share their memories of hours spent in Sam's stores, discovering music. Eleanor McMahon, Ontario Minister of Tourism Culture and Sport, oversees the TODS program that decides which organizations qualify for tourism signage on Ontario highways, and have denied Sam the Record Man's request for tourism signage. We need your help to convince the Minister to overturn the their decision, and provide tourism signage for the last Sam the Record Man!
We, the undersigned, call on the Minister Eleanor McMahon and the TODS program to designate the last Sam the Record Man store in Belleville as a Tourist Attraction, and provide tourism signage!
