With this petition signed by "The People" who are above our tribal government public servants of our Fort Berthold Indian Reservation, we are petitioning that we should not have to be under a single dictator or an overwhelming majority of the people that would (as now) have total power over us as individuals.
By signing this petition we acknowledge that we are the true makers/creaters of all laws & bi-laws of our land as stated in our one true "1934 Tribal Constitution" in which this petition stands to show cause for a new revised constitution that will be updated by the people as they best have the knowledge of what is needed in our land.
Descendants of the Three Affiliated Tribal Society are the Advocates of “The People” of Fort Berthold Indian Reservation who are working for: Promotion of Equal Justice, Social (Constitutional) Rights, Sovereignty (Power of the People of this Land), Power of the Tribal Government (given enough to act, but not put our Tribal Rights at Risk) and “We believe that “The People” do have a right to speak their minds in major decision making concerns (Referendum as stated in Constitution)while not being discriminated against by the TAT Tribal Government”.
