Thank you to everyone for your support. We received over 3700 signatures. The petition is now closed. In the following weeks it will be presented to Delta senior management.
Delta's pass policy for retirees is not commensurate with other major airlines.
American Airlines
Unlimited Personal Passes plus Six (6) Vacation Passes for Each Retiree and Spouse.
Passes are one way.
United Airlines
Unlimited Personal Passes plus Eight (8) Vacation Passes for Each Retiree.
Vacation passes are one way, however, one vacation pass may be utilized to cover all members of the retiree's benefits if traveling on the same agenda.
We are requesting Delta Air Lines review and update their existing pass policy for retirees to align with industry standards in recognition of our contributions to the airline.
We have provided many years of service and dedication to help build a brand of which we all remain proud. During our careers we endured many challenges while, supporting and championing the airline. Listed below are a few examples.
1. Delta Employees purchase a Boeing 767
2. Numerous mergers and acquisitions
3. Base and city closures,
4. Bankruptcy and loss of Delta stock.
On a day to day basis we also dealt with economic downturns, global conflicts, air tragedies and terrorism.
We met these challenges with grace, strength and an unwavering commitment to the company and the passengers we served. Delta Air Lines has a proud history of doing what is right for the "Delta Family". As part of that family, we the undersigned, ask that in recognition of our contribution, Delta re-evaluate the pass policy for retirees.
