Hello, this petition is simply to get Bandai Namco's attention as well as the development studio behind Gundam Battle Operation 2, B.B. Studios. Gundam Battle Operation 2 is plagued in the West with various connection issues. There is a portion of the player base in the West that has no problems with connection issues but it is not the majority. The majority of players who attempt to play Gundam Battle Operation 2 get disconnected or experience severe lag and latency issues. It becomes a serious issue when someone gets disconnected twice in a row in a game and then is banned for an entire day on the first offense for something they cannot even improve any more on their end. The aforementioned is just one of many terrible consequences of deciding to make a game with peer-to-peer connection versus dedicated servers. Some other examples, briefly, are getting shot by a "ghost bullet" or "ghost bazooka." Meaning the shot affects you or your target sometime after you see them get hit by the attack or you were hit by the attack. I have dealt with the lag since Gundam BO 2 on ps4 but I am at my limit with it being the SAME case again on PC. This is absurd. It is robbing the game of its potential success by turning the potential player base entirely against trying the game more than once.
The only thing this petition means for those who sign it is that they agree something needs to be done about these connectivity issues plaguing Gundam Battle Operation 2 in the West on PC. I am aware it is not as simple as Bandai saying "Okay we will switch to dedicated servers." Bandai has to take into consideration server pricing, finances, and concurrent income from the game, et all. Even if dedicated servers are not the answer, these concerns NEED to be addressed as soon as possible, or at the very least Bandai or B.B. Studios needs to come forward and acknowledge the issues are severe and they are working to improve matters as quickly as possible.
