Decriminalizing marijuana will weaken the drug cartels, strengthen the national border, and save money on law enforcement and the legal system. It will increase the liberties of the American people, and allow for reallocation of resources away from punishing non-violent offenders, enabling law enforcement to perform their duties more effectively.
We, the undersigned, in the interest of the personal liberty of all American citizens, and increased efficiency and utility of all law enforcement agencies, call on Donald Trump to decriminalize marijuana at the Federal level.
