Govt under pressure from some aggrieved aspirants has asked UPSC to postpone the Pre exam, which was scheduled on Aug 24th., to do some modifications in the syllabus which is allegedly biased.
If the exam is postponed, it'll have negative effects on serious aspirants as most of them would have covered the syllabus and probably revised it as well. They are mentally prepared to face the exam on the scheduled date. Further if the exam is postponed, it is most likely there will be some changes in the Pre syllabus which will additionally hurt the serious aspirants.
If the govt wants to do some modification in the syllabus, why this year itself? Can't they introduce the changes (if required) from next year?
We, the undersigned, request the Government & UPSC not to postpone UPSC Pre exam. It'll have negative repercussions on serious aspirants.
Instead take in cognizance the grievances of agitating aspirants and introduce changes (if required) from next year onwards.
