Cholesterol tests save lives, but the problem is not enough men ask for a test off their own back and even when they do some doctors leave them waiting.
It is proved that high cholesterol leads to severe heart disease and hardening of the arteries, this is called Atherosclerosis. You will be completely unaware you have it and it is fatal, but having a cholesterol test at the age of 35 can save your live. this will tell you if you are on the wrong track and are at risk of this deadly disease, if you are you will be given advice and medication that will literally save your life.
My brother died at the age of 42 from a sudden heart attack caused by Athersclerosis. He didn't bother going the doctors and never imagined he would need to. now hes not here with his wife and three children, while if he was told that he was unhealthy and leading towards death at 35 he would still be with us today.
We, the undersigned, call on the national health service to make Cholesterol test's compulsory for all men aged 35.
