Clotheslines for Change: Take the Line-drying Promise

This year in science class we studied how our actions impact the earth, and the haunting future that is very possible if we continue on the path we are on today. There is the potential for devastating natural disasters, destroyed ecosystems, rising sea levels, ruined homes, and more. I also learned that there is a direct link between CO2 emissions and global warming. The United States is the second largest producer of carbon emissions. Every little action can make a difference, that's why I decided to focus on dryers for my project. Dryers are the third largest household producer of electricity. An average dryer can produce 2,400 pounds of carbon emissions as well as cost more than $100 a year. This summer, reduce your impact by switching from a dryer, to a clothesline. Because our planet deserves better.
