THE COMMONWEALTH OF
THE BAHAMAS, MR. CORNELIUS A. SMITH

(THE REPRESENTATIVE FOR
THE EXECUTIVE AUTHORITY OF
THE BAHAMAS, HER MAJESTY
QUEEN ELIZABETH II, AND WHO IS ALSO
A PART OF THE BAHAMAS PARLIAMENT)!

As Governor-General Mr. Cornelius A. Smith Has No Power And Absolutely No Authority To Make Emergency Powers Regulations:

And Which Conferred Powers On
The Prime Minister Of The Commonwealth Of The Bahamas, Dr. Hubert Alexander Minnis (Who, Is Referred To
As 'The Competent Authority'),

To Make Emergency Powers Orders
And Rules, Lockdowns And Curfews:

And Which Have Now Been In Force,
For Almost 1 Year (11 Months, To Date):

AND WHICH WERE FURTHER EXTENDED (IN JANUARY 2021), TO MAY 23RD, 2021.

Now Constitutionally,
And According To Article 29 Of
The Bahamas Constitution
(The Supreme Law Of The Land),

The Governor-General, Has The Power To Make Proclamation(s) Of Emergency,

Declaring The Commonwealth Of The Bahamas, To Be In A State Of Emergency.

29. (1) This Article applies to any period when —
(a) The Bahamas is at war; or
(b) there is in force a proclamation (in this section referred to as a “proclamation of emergency”) made by the Governor-General and published in the Gazette declaring that a state of public
emergency exists for the purposes of
this section.

However, The Governor-General,
Has No Power And Absolutely No Authority,
To Make Emergency Powers Regulations,

In The Commonwealth Of The Bahamas,
Including The Prime Minister
('The Competent Authority'),
To Make Emergency Powers Orders
And Rules:

THIS, HOWEVER,
IS BASED ON THE FACT THAT
AN EMERGENCY POWERS ACT
DOES NOT EXIST,

FOR THE COMMONWEALTH OF
THE BAHAMAS:

As An Emergency Powers Bill
(Or Proposed Legislation),
Was Never Passed Into Law,
By Bahamas Legislators (Lawmakers),

Pre-July 10th, 1973,

Nor Post July 10th, 1973:

Of The Bahamas Constitution
(The Supreme Law Of The Land):

and the same SHALL BE DEBATED AND DISPOSED OF according to the rules of
procedure of that House.
