There are many people in the United Kingdom who do not meet the criteria for IVF on the National Health Service (NHS) because of Weight, Age, Smoking or Previous children from past relationships or simply because of the area that they live in.
There are guidelines set by The National Clinical Of Excellence (NICE) but at the end of the day each Primary Care Trust (PCT) make up there own rules and decisions regarding funding.
We the undersigned call on the Health Minister's, Government and Primary Care Trust's to take action in changing the Postcode Lottery for IVF and helping childless couples in the fight to become parents!!
The Criteria also needs to be addressed and cases assessed individually so that everyone has the chance to become a parent and not just a statistic.
