The President of the United States should be required to serve in the US military whether Active duty or in the Reserves.
As Commander in Chief, the President should experience the lifestyle they are to command and experience the same conditions that all military people do while protecting the United States of America.
We, the undersigned, call on the US Senate and the House of Representatives to change the US Constitution Article 2 Section 1 to reflect that the requirements for the President of the United States be amended to include that the candidate MUST have served in the Armed Forces of the United States, Active Duty or Reserves, for a period of not less than 2 years.
