Campain for Lloyd; Time for Safer Streets

On the 25th September 2005, my 17yr old brother Lloyd Fouracre was murdered the day before his 18th birthday. The drunken thugs that did this are awaiting trial but it could be upto a year before they are sentanced.

I want to stop this sort of thing from happening or atleast minimising the chance of it. I don't want others to have to go through what me and my family have had, and still are, having to endure the pain.

Through starting this petition I hope as a short term aim to get more police out on the street at peek times i.e 10pm -4am.

Other long term aims involve getting police back out into the community and activly working in that community by visiting schools on a regular basis.

We also want to get the local school magazines back into the schools. We would like to see local call centres to increase response times. Then we want to tackle the courts to make scentancing more consistent and review the sentencing policy and make sentances tougher. If any of this means building more prisons then so be it.
