BUSINESS STAND TO REMAIN OPEN - WILL NOT COMPLY PETITION

Mandatory business closures during the COVID-19 outbreak is a government assault on our freedoms and is a violation of our Constitution. These actions are moving towards a totalitarian state and has put more than 22 million Americans out of work, over 100,000 thousand businesses now permanently closed, and crushed ours fundamental rights. We understand all communities have a right to protect itself against an epidemic but 1,600 lives is not enough to shut it all down and destroy the livelihoods of millions. Small businesses WILL NOT SURVIVE another closure. All businesses are essential.

I own a salon in Aurora that has been open for only a year. I am a USN veteran, a minority, a woman, mother and a wife. I worked hard to get where I’m at and refuse to start over a second time. Now, I have to go to Aesthetician school because we don’t have employees needing to work. I do whatever needs to be done for the rest of my employees to have a job and for us to remain open. My name doesn’t matter. I represent all the small business owners who want to remain open. We do not want to submit to unsupported "scientific data" & politicians/representatives who do not have our best interest in mind. I don’t know about ya’ll but I’m taking a stand and refuse to give federal & state the authority over my life and the lives of my family as a piece on a chessboard. If they insist on treating our lives as a game then we MUST gather the pawns to bring down the king. STAND WITH US & LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD! Take a STAND TO STAY OPEN!
