Three weeks ago 257 girls were kidnapped from their School in Chibok, Nigeria. Children have the right to safety and the right to education.
The kidnapping is a violation of their human rights.
I condemn the kidnapping of the 257 school girls from a school in Nigeria and call on my government the South African government led by President Jacob Zuma to assist in ensuring the safe return of the girls to their families by any means possible.
An attack and treat on an african child is an attack and a treat on the future of the African Continent.
