ESPN, in a fit of PC, fired Tuesday Morning Quarterback (TMQ) columist Gregg Easterbrook from the "Page 2" section of their espn.com website. ESPN made this move in response to a comment Easterbrook made in his web blog on the New Republic web site. ESPN is obviously STILL trying to "make up" for hiring Rush Limbaugh and is going completely overboard in doing so.
We, the undersigned, do hereby petition the ESPN network to being back Gregg Easterbrook and his "Tuesday Morning Quartrerback" column. We further petition ESPN to think before making such hair-trigger (and hare-brained) moves such as this in the future to fire a columnust for poor word choice rather than risk being seen as not Politically Correct.
