On April 2nd 2019, Roblox released a statement saying that they are removing events for good, and replacing them for Live OP's, which is a page they promote games. The thing is, this already exist in the form of Featured games... The negative effects are, you can no longer get free catalog items, players will leave Roblox for good, and it is pointless. Why not keep events and simply add the Live OP's, it's a benefit for both?
