Hut 33 is a BBC Radio 4 sitcom set at Bletchley Park in 1941. It is written by James Cary and produced by Adam Bromley.
The cast includes Tom Goodman-Hill as Geordie Marxist Archie, Robert Bathurst as ultra-conservative snob Charles, Fergus Craig as 17-year-old maths prodigy Gordon, Alex MacQueen as incompetent commanding officer, Joshua Fanshawe-Marshall, Olivia Colman as Polish psychopath Minka and Lill Roughley as Mrs Best, their sex-obsessed landlady.
We, the undersigned, call on the BBC to recommission the radio sitcom Hut 33.
Hut 33 is an excellent example of the traditional radio sitcom. This may be slightly more expensive to make than yet another panel show, but it is also much more memorable and once broadcast, can be repeated on Radio 4 Extra, as the previous series already are.
