This petition has been started to convince BET to bring back the news to a regular daily time.
Lately, BET shows far too many reality shows. The quality of the channel has gone down. Also it is important to have BET stop playing the movie Soul Plane.
The movie is a horrible display of stereotypes and it is played too much.
BET news was a great source of news that represented news for and about the African American community.
Since it has been gone; the quality of the channel has gone down significantly. There is no way that BET should continue to not show the news regularly.
