The world has looked to our nation as the beacon of freedom. Freedom to express ourselves without retribution. Freedom to choose and worship any religion you want. The freedom to burn the very flag that is the symbol of that freedom. The freedom to build the American dream.

ESPN has taken upon themselves to take away the ability of former World Series pitcher Curt Schilling to express the way he feels about a certain group of people. Under the Constitution, something no one much less an entertainment channel has the power, nor should they, to override.

We, the undersigned, call on the President of the parent company of ESPN to do a full apology not only Curt Schilling but the Little Leaguers and the people of the United States of America. We also ask that Mr. Schilling be reinstated immediately and given full recompense for the damages done to him because of the inane actions on behalf of ESPN.

Since they took it upon themselves to be the moral police over something that has nothing to do with baseball or entertainment we also ask that ESPN educate our children what true freedom of speech is.
