Bill Nighy is an accomplished British film, television and stage actor who would perfectly fill the role of Rufus Scrimgeour in the film "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince."
Bill Nighy has gained much recognition in his career. He won a film BAFTA in 2003 for his role in "Love Actually" and a television BAFTA, again in 2003, for his role in the mini-series "State of Play." In 2005, Nighy won a Golden Globe for his role in the T.V. film "Gideon's Daughter" was nominated in the same category for his role in "The Girl in the Cafe."
More recently, he played Davey Jones in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" series and can be seen briefly in the British comedy "Hot Fuzz."
