Basingstoke should be able to hold a pride parade in order to raise awareness and support the lgbtq+ community, and make people aware of the discrimination and hate still faced by them.
A pride parade here would also bring in money from tourism and would be a good day out. It would be peaceful and very very fun.
This is a petition that is asking for the organisation of a Pride Parade in Basingstoke, Hampshire.
We want this because it will make people more aware of the discrimination and hate still faced by the LGBTQ+ community, as well as increasing their support, and bringing in tourism to basingstoke.
It would also be an amazing peaceful fun day out for all ages (fete at the end of parade).
