Banking executives profit from investments whilst neglecting the needs of its customers.
In April 2014 the Ipswich town centre Barclays branch merged its business and international banking tills, drastically increasing the waiting times for business professionals who visit the branch on a day-to-day basis.
Local businesses rely on the delivery of a prompt and efficient service from their bank, but currently endure long waiting times that are detrimental to their business activities.
The Barclays branch has failed to effectively respond to formal complaints made by local businesses. To ensure that the needs of small businesses are not ignored, a petition has been established demanding the reinstatement of a dedicated business till in the town centre Barclays branch.
We, the undersigned, request the reinstatement of a dedicated business till at the Barclays PLC branch on Princes Street of Ipswich.
Local businesses depend on a prompt service from their bank and require a dedicated till in order to meet their needs.
We urge Barclays' management staff not to ignore the needs of their customers and to reconsider the merging of the business and international tills at the Princes Street branch in Ipswich town centre.
