Ban the sale of all energy drinks to under 18s

I work in a vibrant joint service centre in Nottingham and I regularly see children some as young as seven or eight, come in after drinking energy drinks like Red Bull; some of them still have the drinks in their hands as they come in. This makes the children at times very uncontrollable, as they are very hyperactive due to the amount of sugar and caffeine.

Added to which, what long term effects must it be having on their bodies; problems like obesity, heart complaints and diabetes.

In an era where there is a large concern of the effects of modern life styles on the younger population, the banning of such drinks would have a major result on alleviating some of those causes.
