Ban the Isle Of Man's Bendy buses

"MANX transport officials may give the green light for the Isle of Man's first articulated bus — the so-called bendy bus — to go into service if the results of current trials are favourable".

It has been said that 'At peak periods we have lots of school children and this would carry more people so it is more economical.'

Quite apart from these buses not being thought suitable for the Islands roads by a large proportion of Island residents it is also thought dangerous for so many schoolchildren to be standing during transit as many other countries are moving towards one child, one seat on school transport.

These buses during trial have been seen to be unreliable with well documented breakdowns within the local press.
