Garden bonfires are a menace. We've put up with one person in our neighbourhood who sometimes has 3 going at a time in his garden. The smoke & smell is appauling. Our environmental health team won't act upon it.
We're entitled to have clean air. We can't when bonfires are lit. Clothes outside reek of smoke, and asthma sufferers are put through hell.
I urge as many of you as possible to fight this menace.
We, the undersigned, call on the British Government to put a stop to people burning garden waste and demand the right to clean air in our own gardens.
