We the people in America respect all animals. We have laws to protect animals. We also honor animals when they are dead, by giving them burials.
We do not treat their bodies like they are playthings for our entertainment.
So, we must put a stop to the use of dead octopus bodies in the Detroit Red Wings games.
We, the undersigned, respectfully request Christopher Ilitch of Ilitch Holdings, to take the necessary steps to guarantee that no person can gain admittance to a Detroit Red Wings hockey game, carrying a dead animal.
It is immoral to treat a dead animal like it is a toy for our amusement.
