Dominion Energy is using your money to buy political influence in the generation and delivery of electricity in Virginia. Dominion is one of the largest donors in Virginia politics and passes out millions of dollars to influence our State Legislators, Governor, Lieutenant Governor and Attorney General. In the 2021 elections, Dominion used dark and questionable donations to attack the candidates that the giant monopoly opposes. In the meantime, your electric bill goes up due to programs like the Virginia Clean Economy Act which, in particular, raises the electric bill of working families. This is also after Dominion made a 14 percent profit between 2017 and 2020, far more than the state law allows. Little of that money will come back to you.
Tell our elected officials to stop Dominion from making political contributions. Dominion is a greedy monopoly that tries to "pay off" our elected officials who are supposed to be there to protect you. Sign our petition today and we will deliver it to each State Legislator. Thank you!
