We as Christians and believers of the Gospel request that this movie be banned for release in cinemas throughout our Country.
The content of the Da Vinci code is BLASPHEMOUS and extremely insensitive to the Church and to all who love the Lord Jesus.
Our God is depicted as a LIAR and a man who was married, which goes against our belief and Bibical understanding, not to mention the countless false "fictional" accusations made by both the Book and the movie.
This would NEVER be tolerated by our society, should "ALLAH" or "BUDDAH" be depicted in this way.
This movie may be "fictional" in nature, but that grants the director NO
right to make a public spectacle of the Jesus that we LOVE and WORSHIP.
WE REQUEST THAT THE GOVERNING OFFICIALS FOR THE RELEVANT DEPARTMENTS BAN THE RELEASE OF THE DA VINCI CODE MOVIE FROM BEING RELEASED IN SOUTH AFRICAN CINEMAS.
