Are you tired of aggressive chuggers (charity muggers) hassling you to and from your place of work, in the park or outside your train station?
Then sign this petition to get Sydney City Council to make these activities illegal, or allow them only one day per week at set times. Melbourne did it, now it's Sydney's turn to get rid of these pests.
We the undersigned request that Clover Moore take immediate steps to eradicate the charity scourge from our streets, so that pedestrians are free to move about without having to navigate around groups of charity workers on our footpaths or intersections.
We want a ban on these groups permanently, or a one day per week restriction.
