This petition is being written to support the addition of an MLS team in Atlanta, Georgia. Atlanta has never had an MLS team and has a huge market to support such a team. The perfect situation has arrived with the Atlanta Braves moving to Cobb County from Turner Field.
This petition is for the city of Atlanta to allow the addition of an MLS team and allow this MLS team to call Turner Field home. I believe this would be a great situation for the city of Atlanta and its sports fans. This would also save Turner Field and keep the city from demolishing the stadium after the Braves leave.
