Now im 16 and i was bored so i went to look for a general chat room for teens
within seconds i found one at http://www.chat-avenue.com/ it was a free teen chat that ANY one could enter without even asking there age, so i enterd my Screen name DJ Dazzul as my nickname and i was in NO QUESTIONS ASKED, now i came to the room for general chat so i started with "Hello everyone how are you all doing" then i get private message and normal chat room messages saying you want cyber sex, cam to cam on msn (c2c) and much more.

Now ok kids do get upto no good but anyone can enter the room i could of been 32 and got in which im not as im 16. I was very alarmed that with no questions asked i was talking to people who wanted online sex and it was the first time i spoke to them, Ive set up a email account for your views on the matter (email me at arechildrensafe@mb4f.info )which i will include in the website i set up help gain awearness on how unsafe the rooms are http://www.freewebs.com/arechildrensafe/

There were no staff to even keep a eye out for the children, so im urging you sign this poll to make chat rooms safe or even better ban this kind on online community
