Allow Nigerians in Diaspora to Register to Vote in Nigeria's General Elections
- Target:
- Federal Government of Nigeria
- Region:
- GLOBAL
Nigerians who live outside Nigeria do not have a right to Register to vote in Nigeria's General Elections in their Countries of Residence. I believe this is unfair and I feel disenfranchised.
Nigerians in diaspora contribute immensely to the progress and economic development of Nigeria and therefore should have rights to vote in choosing Nigeria's Leaders.
Nigeria belong to us all and we should all be able to register and vote; this can be organised by the Nigerian Embassies and High Commissions of the Countries where we reside.
We the undersigned call on the Federal Government of Nigeria to allow Nigerians in Diaspora to Register to Vote in Nigeria's General Elections.
